Hagedorn Weekly Report #67

Where's my savings?

“The Affordable Care Act wasn’t about insurance; it was about health care.”

So said Tim Walz while accepting the DFL nomination for Congress, May 14th in Worthington.

What? The entire law is about health insurance. And this from a guy who claims to have read the bill!

Meanwhile, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune just reported that Minnesota’s Obamacare premiums are expected to increase dramatically in 2017, some by more than 50%. And that’s on top of huge increases for 2015 and 2016.

Many families are paying health insurance premiums of more than $15,000 with deductibles so high the underlying insurance is virtually worthless. And to think Tim Walz promised you would save $2,500 per year. What a crock!

Click here to read the Star-Tribune article and also gain my plan to replace Obamacare.

Obamacare is an albatross hanging around Tim Walz’s neck in this election. Let’s replace Walz and then replace Obamacare!

Secure America's Borders - Hagedorn

This week I reiterated my longstanding commitment to securing America’s borders and ending illegal immigration. Click to learn more about my specific plan and solutions.

By contrast, Tim Walz has been in Congress for 10 years and only made the problem worse. Walz’s votes for open borders, massive refugee migration, Obama’s amnesty for illegal aliens and sanctuary cities are an unmitigated disgrace.

I’m excited that Donald Trump has also championed this issue. As your congressman, you can count on me to work with Mr. Trump to solve this problem, once and for all.

Worthington Daily Globe (Hagedorn guest column): Reforms and solutions to help First District farmers

KEYC-TV Mankato (Video): No endorsements from Minnesota Farm Bureau for First Congressional race

Tim Walz’s record of casting anti-agriculture votes finally caught up with him as the Minnesota Farm Bureau stripped him of its endorsement. That’s an embarrassing development, especially for a 10-year incumbent and member of the Agriculture Committee.

For details about the Farm Bureau endorsement decision and my bold solutions to help farmers, agri-business and all southern Minnesotans, click to read my press release.

Farm Bureau’s failure to endorse Walz is more evidence that Minnesota’s farmers have had enough of Walz’s support for President Obama’s big government policies like extremist EPA regulation, Obamacare, expensive anti-energy global warming schemes, higher fuel taxes and the federal death tax.

I’m surging with farmers and agri-business leaders because southern Minnesotans have had enough and are ready for a true agent of change in Washington, D.C.!

I had fun traveling the First District and shaking hands with voters this week! Click to see pictures and details from my visit to Le Sueur’s County's Pioneer Power event, Ahlman’s Guns Shooters Roundup in Morristown and Sunday’s Gladiolus Days Parade in St. Charles.

Hagedorn - Walz Debate

The first Hagedorn – Walz debate has been scheduled for October 4th in Winona. Click here for full details. We will keep you posted on further debate developments.

Bank Note

This is a now or never election. Either we take back our country and make big bold changes to Washington, D.C. or we will forever lose our Republic as the Forefathers envisioned.

I need your help, now, to win this election. We are working relentlessly, Walz’s liberal record is a disaster and my solutions are resonating with the voters. To win, all we need to do in these last months is spread our winning conservative message across Southern Minnesota and keep working hard.

Please make an electronic contribution of $100 (or whatever you can afford from $1 to $2,700) or send a check to: Friends of Hagedorn; 11 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 007; Mankato, MN 56001. Thank you!
