MIRANDA RIGHTS vs. LAST RITES
Our campaign continues to expose Tim Walz for his ‘soft on terrorism’ record.
This week we issued this video and press release condemning Walz for voting repeatedly to close the Guantanamo Bay prison and relocate the Islamic terrorists to the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota. Yes, you read that right.
Walz is absolutely one hundred percent wrong. We need to keep Islamic terrorists like 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (see above picture) as far away from southern Minnesota as possible.
It’s bad enough that Walz refuses to call our enemy “radical Islam” and also supports the Obama policies of open borders, amnesty and flooding the United States with Muslim refugees and immigrants from nations that hate America. But, inviting the world’s most dangerous Jihadists to Rochester, Minnesota? Even liberal Senator Amy Klobuchar thinks Tim is reckless and wrong, see here.
MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –
The highlight of this week’s campaigning was meeting residents and business leaders in Winona. Thanks to radio industry businessman and great friend and supporter Jerry Papenfuss for introducing me to his friends and business contacts.
I especially enjoyed touring Plasticomp, Inc. (http://www.plasticomp.com/about-plasticomp/) - a fast-growing plastic materials manufacturer - and visiting with the company’s leadership (see above photo).
KIMT – TV:
Our campaign’s focus on protecting the American people from Islamic terrorism and Tim Walz’s ‘soft on terrorism’ record continues to gain more attention.
Check out this KIMT-TV news story, Covering Community Special Report: Fear & Faith. While the story pushes a false narrative that conservative policies designed to protect Americans from Islamic terrorism is “Islamophobia,” I appreciate the opportunity to express my clear-cut anti-terrorism policy positions. Note: This story was supposed to be a comparison of Tim Walz and me on this issue, but Walz didn’t have the courage to go on the record with KIMT.
In Case You Missed It (ICYMI):
Minneapolis Star-Tribune article, “Minnesota Congressional Candidates Balancing Islamic Sentiments,” that reports on my refugee program “timeout” proposal.
For more on my refugee policy, click here.
Lastly, don’t forget about my recent letter-to-the-editor, “Hagedorn responds to editor’s column,” in which I hammer Walz for his politically correct stance on Islamic terrorism and open borders immigration.
GRASSROOTS FUNDRAISING –
Our meet-and-greet at the Nowak Farm in Wells was a great success. I enjoyed meeting new grassroots supporters and our campaign was pleased to raise a nice chunk of campaign cash. Thanks to Mark and Lea Nowak for their hospitality, and all who attended for their support. Thanks also to GOP State Rep. Peggy Bennett, District 27A, for stopping by and delivering an excellent speech to her constituents.

GOP PRECINCT CAUCUSES, MARCH 1ST –
On Super Tuesday, March 1st, you have the power to directly elect Republican National Convention Delegates for the Office of President of the United States. By attending your local GOP precinct caucus, you can directly support the Hagedorn campaign as well as State Senate and State Representative candidates.
For background on the Minnesota GOP Caucus process and to locate your caucus location, click here: http://mngop.com/precinct-caucuses/
Here’s how you can help our campaign at your March 1st Precinct Caucus:
- Attend your local precinct caucus and place your name in nomination to be elected as a delegate to your county convention. Then ask fellow Republicans to vote for you. If you have any questions about this process, please contact our campaign at firstname.lastname@example.org or discuss the process with your local GOP official on caucus night.
- Volunteer to deliver a short speech in support of my candidacy at your local precinct caucus. Again, please contact our campaign at email@example.com to make arrangements.
THIS WEEK –
This week I will be greeting loyal Republicans at the GOP Precinct Caucus in Rochester and other locations. I will also be making fundraising calls, speaking out on the issues, engaging the news media and meeting residents on Main Street (like these lovely Girl Scouts I met while grocery shopping in Blue Earth this past weekend).
Thanks for reading,
