HAGEDORN STATEMENT ON U.S. HOUSE PASSAGE OF HEALTH CARE LEGISLATION –
U.S. House Republicans have taken the first step toward repealing and replacing Obamacare with free market reforms. While I would have preferred a straight forward repeal and more robust replacement provisions (see my full views here) I support the House's action.
Obamacare is a monstrosity that has limited health insurance choices, dramatically driven up the cost of premiums and deductibles and imposed massive, costly regulations and taxes upon the medical care industry and the American people.
The Democrat alternative to Obamacare is Medicare for all or Medicaid (welfare) for most or, more precisely, VA care for everyone.
The Democrat position of socialized medicine is unacceptable to the American people, as it would degrade the highest quality medical care in the world and lead to massive tax increases, widespread rationing and an undermining of doctors and medical institutions like our wonderful Mayo Clinic and fine rural hospitals.
I will continue to strongly support the efforts of President Trump and the congressional GOP majority to repeal and replace Obamacare.Read more

HAGEDORN, WALZ DEBATES –
Last week Tim Walz and I engaged in three debates, on successive days.
I offered bold solutions to the problems confronting our nation and exposed Walz for a 10-year record in Congress during which he has no record of solving any of the serious problems confronting America. In fact, Tim has made things worse by voting for Obamacare, massive refugee transfers from countries that hate America, expensive global warming policies and abortion in the 7th, 8th and 9th month of pregnancy.Read more

Meanwhile, Tim Walz walked in 3 parades and attended 2 county fairs this spring and summer. Other than staged photo-op media events, Walz has been all but nonexistent.Read more
WALZ SAID WHAT ABOUT OBAMACARE? –
“The Affordable Care Act wasn’t about insurance; it was about health care.”
So said Tim Walz while accepting the DFL nomination for Congress, May 14th in Worthington.
What? The entire law is about health insurance. And this from a guy who claims to have read the bill!Read more
