Hagedorn Weekly Report #28 - Happy Thanksgiving!

Wheel of Fortune - Islamic Terrorism

Over the next couple weeks I will release a series of videos further outlining my solutions to defend against and defeat the threat of Islamic-based terrorism.

Click to view the first video, “Identifying the enemy,” which was accompanied by this press release. In the video I explain that the first step to defeating an enemy is identifying the enemy.

Unfortunately, our congressman follows the lead of President Obama and Hillary Clinton and refuses to identify our enemy as “radical Islam,” “Islamic Jihad,” etc. In fact, we can find no record of Tim Walz using such words from the time he began running for Congress in 2005 through the Paris attacks. However, on numerous occasions we did find evidence of Walz railing against the Tea Party, warning of the dire threat of climate change and mouthing nonsensical Obama administration left wing talking points.

We must elect a new congressman who will stay focused on defeating the enemies who threaten our way of life. Job #1 for me will always be the defense of the United States and the protection of the American people.

This week I visited financial donors and did some Main Street campaigning in Rochester, Mankato, Owatonna and Albert Lea. I also attended the Waseca County GOP monthly meeting, issued press releases, video statements and continued to work with our campaign staff to organize across the First District.

KEYC-TV – Walz Defends Refugee Vote; Hagedorn Responds

Last Friday I bird-dogged Tim Walz and attended a speech he made to Minnesota State University, Mankato, students on refugee policy. As you will see from this KEYC-TV news story, my opponent bobbed-and-weaved as he attempted to explain why he ran for political cover after the Paris attacks. By contrast, the straight-forward views I expressed in the interview were the same views I had publically expressed before the Paris attacks. Voters are looking for leadership, strength and resolve.

The campaign’s next grassroots fundraiser is scheduled for:

November 30th – Interlaken Golf Club; Fairmont (5:30 pm – 7:30 pm)

Please join us in Fairmont for an evening of great political conversation and light food and refreshments. Martin County delivered 60% of the vote in 2014 and the Hagedorn campaign is looking for even more in 2016! (See flyer for more details.)

Save the date! – December 7th – Worthington (formal details released soon)

Please help our campaign build strong financial momentum by attending our fundraisers or contributing directly to the campaign today. To send contributions electronically click here. To contribute by check, please make checks out to Friends of Hagedorn and mail to: Friends of Hagedorn; 11 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 007; Mankato, MN 56001. Thank you!

Hagedorn solutions to repeal and replace Obamacare and…
Even the New York Times is mad about Obamacare Deductibles!:

Click to read this Facebook post to learn more about my free market ideas to repeal and replace Obamacare and also review a New York Times article that discusses how skyrocketing Obamacare deductibles are making health insurance worthless.

Walz supports Obama’s regulatory onslaught and…
Hagedorn supports the REINS Act to reform the regulatory process:

Check out this Facebook post documenting how the Obama administration is readying thousands of new regulations that will further stifle the economy and kill high-wage jobs.

We must reform the regulatory process and restore Congress’ authority to write or affirm federal regulations. The House passed a bill earlier this year to do just that. H.R. 427, the REINS Act would enable Congress to block idiotic regulations like the EPA’s Waters of the U.S. rule.

Get this, DFL Congressman Collin Peterson (MN-7) voted with Republicans to pass the bill. Liberal Tim Walz voted against the REINS Act. Walz’s “no” vote undercut the interest of farmers, small business owners, community bankers, blue collar workers and consumers.

We need a new congressman who will work to weed out excessive government and help grow our economy and create good, high-wage jobs.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! All of us have so much for which to be thankful. I am most thankful for our loving God, a wonderful family and all who are helping in this quest to restore the greatness of America.
