HAGEDORN RELEASES FIRST LIST OF LEGISLATIVE SUPPORTERS
‘Grassroots Support Continues to Grow’
Blue Earth, Minnesota – Friends of Hagedorn, the campaign committee for Republican First District congressional candidate Jim Hagedorn, today announced its initial list of state legislative supporters which includes two state senators and three state representatives who cumulatively represent eight of the 21 counties in the First Congressional District.
The legislative supporters include:
- State Representative Bob Gunther (Fairmont) – Gunther is serving his 12th term and is chair of the House Legacy Funding Finance Committee
- State Senator Julie Rosen (Vernon Center) – Rosen is serving in her fifth term and is chair of the Senate Finance Committee
- State Representative Tony Cornish (Vernon Center) – Cornish is serving his eighth term and is chair of the House Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance Committee
- State Representative Bob Vogel (Elko New Market) Vogel is in his second term and is vice-chair of the House Ways and Means Committee
State Senator Rich Draheim (Madison Lake) – Draheim is in his first term and serves as vice-chair of the Senate Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee
“From agriculture to tax reform to higher education to public safety and job creation, these fine public servants bring a combined 50+ years of legislative experience and a deep knowledge of the issues facing the First Congressional District to the campaign,” Hagedorn stated. “I’m proud to have earned their support and endorsement and, as Congressman, I look forward to working with them to represent the interests, views and values of southern Minnesotans.”
The Friends of Hagedorn campaign committee will periodically release additional lists of grass roots supporters – from all of the First District’s 21 counties – including, Republican County Chairs, GOP activists, Members of the United States Congress and state legislators.
