MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –
We continue to work hard across Minnesota’s First District. During just the last few weeks I visited 15 counties (Olmsted, Rock, Cottonwood, Martin, Blue Earth, Brown, Le Sueur, Freeborn, Faribault, Rice, Fillmore, Watonwan, Waseca, Steele and Houston) and discussed local issues with community leaders and met residents on Main Street.
Parade season is in full-swing and our campaign is in high-gear. Thanks to parade goers in Waterville, Fairmont, Mapleton, Hills, Hanska, Preston and Spring Gove for the warm welcome. And thanks to all our Hagedorn volunteers and staff for walking parades with us and connecting with the fine people of southern Minnesota.

HAGEDORN ADDRESSES MNGOP STATE CONVENTION –
It was an honor and a lot of fun addressing the Minnesota Republican Party’s State Convention in Duluth. I used the opportunity to express my support for President Trump’s legislative program, expose the radical left-wing views of our Democrat opponent, Dan Feehan, and highlight how I will be a Conservative Reinforcement in Congress who will work to keep moving America in the right direction.

AUGUST 14TH REPUBLICAN PRIMARY –
The Republican Primary is just two months away. I ask for your support and vote on August 14th.
Thanks again to the Minnesota First District Republican Party for decisively endorsing my candidacy for Congress by a vote of 218-61 or 76%-21%.
Over the next 60 days we will offer voters our positive conservative message of Peace Through Strength, federal government reform to expand our economy, protection of our God-given rights and sustaining agriculture and our rural way of life. To review our campaign’s strong momentum, click here.
Our GOP competitor is State Senator Carla Nelson, who we soundly defeated for endorsement in Mankato. Carla and I have some differences, and we will thoughtfully highlight them during this campaign.
One difference is that I supported Donald Trump’s candidacy for President and encouraged all to vote for him. Sadly, just three weeks before the critical 2016 election, Carla refused to even commit to vote for Mr. Trump. Click here for all the details.
DAN FEEHAN, LIKE 75%+ OF HIS CAMPAIGN MONEY, IS NOT FROM OUR CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT –
A recent Minnesota Public Radio story exposed how our Democrat opponent, Dan Feehan, has received roughly 75% of his campaign funds from outside Minnesota, mostly from leftists in New York, Hollywood, San Francisco, D.C., Chicago and Boston.
By contrast, the Hagedorn campaign is the mirror opposite, as we have received 76.5% of our contributions from Minnesotans.
Fact is, Dan Feehan never resided one day in his life in any of the 21 Counties that comprise our First Congressional District, prior to moving from D.C. to Mankato last year to run for Congress (after Tim Walz left the race to run for Governor).
Thanks to all who attended recent receptions in Faribault, Albert Lea, New Ulm and our special Rochester event featuring remarks by U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul, Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security.
The current FEC reporting period ends June 30th. Please consider making a contribution to Friends of Hagedorn and help us compete with the national liberal money that is being sent into Minnesota to prop up our Democrat opponent.
Mail checks to: Friends of Hagedorn; 11 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 007; Mankato, MN 56001 or make an electronic contribution at JimHagedorn.org/donate. Thank you!
