MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –
We continue to travel the First District to shake hands with residents and meet southern Minnesota’s “thought leaders” to build relationships and learn as much as possible about you and your needs, interests and values.
Over the past few weeks I’ve campaigned in: Albert Lea, Hayfield, Caledonia, Winona, La Crescent, Dodge Center, Wells, Truman, New Ulm, Faribault, Owatonna, Lewiston, Mankato, Luverne, Lakefield, Springfield, Sleepy Eye, Fairmont, Rochester, Leavenworth and Winnebago.
A few of my stops (click to view): Options Pregnancy Center’s Pro-Life dinner in Fairmont; Minnesota Pheasants Inc., Blue Earth County Chapter, dinner in Mankato; speaking to the New Ulm, Luverne and Le Sueur Rotary Clubs; touring Mathiowetz Construction Company in rural Brown County (see above photo with Brian and Chad Mathiowetz and members of their team); and, Center of the American Experiment’s Gala in Minneapolis featuring Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson (see picture below with many fine College Republicans).
MORE GOP LEADERS ENDORSE JIM –
The Hagedorn campaign is humbled to receive expanding support from prominent national, state and districtwide Republican officials and activists. Special thanks to former State Senator and current Le Sueur County GOP Chairman Al DeKruif for his endorsement and full support.
Chairs or Deputy Chairs from 18 of the First District’s 21 Counties support “Hagedorn.” To view our list of endorsements click here.
REP. TOM EMMER RECEPTION A HUGE SUCCESS –
Thanks to Tom Emmer, Minnesota’s Sixth District Congressman, for traveling to Mankato on March 26th and helping Team Hagedorn raise critical campaign funds. Rep. Emmer is the Deputy Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee and a rising Republican star (see above photo).
Thanks to those who attended our Mankato reception and all who have contributed financially, volunteered and supported our campaign along the way!
To make a contribution at this time, please send a check to Friends of Hagedorn; 11 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 007; Mankato, MN 56001 or click here to make an electronic payment.
MN FIRST DISTRICT REPUBLICAN PARTY CONVENTION –
Minnesota First District Republican Party delegates will convene at the Verizon Center in Mankato to endorse our candidate for First District Congress on April 21st.
The Hagedorn campaign has worked very hard over the past 17 months to stay connected with our GOP activists and keep building Republican unity and support.
While I am confident that our strong campaigning will help us win decisively in Mankato, I take nothing for granted and we will keep working hard to earn your support, our Party’s endorsement and then keep fighting all the way thru 8:00 P.M. November 6th.

Our campaign has received some excellent local and national media coverage. Click on links to read or view.
HAGEDORN BILLBOARDS –
Keep an eye out for our new billboards. Because of your support, we are able to communicate our conservative message and keep building name identification across southern Minnesota.
HAGEDORN WITH COMMANDING GOP PRIMARY LEAD –
In case you missed it, a recently commissioned Harper Polling survey of likely First District Republican Primary voters (Republicans and Independents) showed our campaign with a huge 33-point lead against our only competitor.
Hagedorn is ahead by wide margins in all media markets, including Rochester, and we lead by an astounding 70%-6% in the Mankato area. Click here to review the poll.
HAGEDORN ON THE ISSUES –
PICTURE OF THE WEEK –
Thanks to good friend and Fillmore County GOP Chairman, Gary Steuart, for commissioning this artwork depicting the way our campaign “elbowed” Tim Walz out of this race and made Minnesota’s First Congressional District the best pickup opportunity in the nation for U.S. House Republicans.
Sorry for the length of this report; but in our defense, we’ve been busy!
Thanks for reading!
