HAGEDORN ENDORSED BY MINNESOTA’S LARGEST PRO-LIFE ORGANIZATION
Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life cites candidate’s “100% commitment on pro-life issues”
Blue Earth, Minnesota – Jim Hagedorn, Republican candidate for Congress in Minnesota’s First Congressional District, today announced he has been endorsed by the Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) Federal Political Action Committee.
“The protection of life, including the unborn, elderly, sick and disabled, from conception to natural death, is a strongly held core belief of mine, one that I am proud to make an important part of our campaign, as it reflects the views and values of residents of the First Congressional District,” said Hagedorn.
In awarding the endorsement, the MCCL Federal PAC cited Hagedorn’s 100% commitment to the pro-life cause as illustrated in his completion of the 2018 candidate questionnaire. An affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee, MCCL is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian organization founded in 1968.
“I am honored to have been endorsed by Minnesota’s oldest and largest pro-life organization and I will always stand up for the right to life” said Hagedorn. “There is a clear difference between me and my opponent on this issue, as Planned Parenthood endorsed Dan Feehan and his DFL Party back federal funding of abortion, late term abortion and an extreme pro-abortion legislative agenda,” said Hagedorn.
In the 2016 election, Hagedorn received 49.6% of the vote against six-term incumbent Tim Walz, who is not seeking re-election to Congress. Minnesota’s First District is considered the best pick-up opportunity in the country for U.S. House Republicans.
