Hagedorn Weekly Report #43

Nancy Reagan

R.I.P. NANCY REAGAN –

Meeting Ronald and Nancy Reagan in Mankato in 1979 was a lifetime thrill. They were very nice people and helped my dad, Tom (pictured along with my mom, sisters and me), win a landslide reelection for Congress in 1980. My family was sorry to learn of Mrs. Reagan’s death. We are grateful for all she and President Reagan did for our nation. God Bless the Reagan family.

Dodge Center

MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –

This week we campaigned in several cities including Dodge Center, Faribault, Owatonna and Mankato. In Dodge Center I visited with many residents, including Doug (pictured center) who is Minnesota’s number one collector of license plates (you learn something new every day!). People in Dodge Center were most concerned with the weakening farm economy, illegal immigration, skyrocketing Obamacare costs and out-of-control welfare.

GOP COUNTY CONVENTIONS –

Over the next month First District Republicans will hold 21 county conventions to elect delegates for the May 7th First District Convention in Mankato and the May 20-21 State Convention in Duluth. This weekend Cottonwood, Dodge, Jackson and Mower counties will hold their conventions. I am excited to attend the conventions, shake hands with Republican activists and build Party unity.

Mankato Supporters

GRASSROOTS FUNDRAISING –

This past week we held 3 grassroots fundraisers in Faribault, Owatonna and Mankato. Thanks to my friends – Otto Luknic, Jay Valentyn, Dan Kaiser, Mona Kaiser, Tom Streit, Dr. Dan Dockham and Myron Erstad – for hosting.

Our campaign has 5 more fundraisers scheduled for March (see below), including events in Fairmont and Mapleton next week.

Tim Walz is bankrolled by inside-the-beltway lobbyists, trial lawyers, Twin Cities socialists, government labor unions, extremist environmental groups and the abortion-on-demand lobby. Meanwhile, we rely upon the support of fine Americans like you.

Please attend one of our fundraisers and help finance our campaign. To contribute electronically, click here. To make a contribution by check, please mail to: Friends of Hagedorn; 11 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 007; Mankato, MN 56001. Thank you!

Hagedorn vs. Walz

HAGEDORN vs. WALZ (ON THE ISSUES) –

Even NPR and Harvard understand that the Affordable Care Act is not affordable:

Check out this Facebook post on Obamacare. Even NPR and Harvard agree that Obamacare is hurting Americans and driving up costs.

Will super delegate Tim Walz stay with Hillary if indicted?:

During Wednesday’s Democratic debate Hillary Clinton indignantly refused to answer if she would drop out of the Presidential race if indicted. Reporters should ask super delegate Tim Walz if he will continue to support HRC post-indictment. Click to see more.

Previously deported illegal Mexican immigrant murders 5 in Kansas City:

Another “act of love” by a previously deported illegal alien. Obama and open borders pro-amnesty extremists like Tim Walz are injecting crime and chaos into our communities. One of my top priorities in Congress will be to work with the next GOP president to secure our borders and return to the rule of law on immigration matters. Click here to read more.

U.S. Army indoctrinated soldiers on “white privilege”:

Judicial Watch reported this week that the U.S. Army has been indoctrinating our soldiers about “white privilege” (click to view). This is the type of politically correct BS that I will work with our next GOP president to end. Obama and followers like Walz are wasting your tax money on this and other nonsense. No wonder the military is such as mess under Obama.

Hey! Hillary!

Obama and Hillary turned their backs on four U.S. citizens (including two military veterans) and concocted a lie to deflect blame for their war to topple Col. Gaddafi that led to the rise of radical Islam in Libya. Meanwhile, Tim Walz, who supported the war in Libya, snaps to attention and loyally salutes his corrupt Democrat leaders. Benghazi, alone, is enough to disqualify HRC as commander-in-chief.

THIS WEEK –

This week I will be attending the Dodge, Jackson and Mower county conventions, attending our grassroots fundraisers, making fundraising calls and engaging the media.
