Hagedorn Weekly Report #6

Farm Bureau’s Breakfast on the Farm

MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING – This past week I had the pleasure of discussing issues with distinguished Republicans in Rochester, strategizing with supporters in Winona, meeting financial backers in Mankato and engaging in interviews with several southeast Minnesota media outlets.

Saturday I had a great time visiting with Mower County residents during the Farm Bureau’s Breakfast on the Farm event held at Reiland Farms near Le Roy (see picture).

MEDIA – Thanks to La Crosse’s WKBT-TV News 8 for an excellent interview covering mostly economic issues. During the interview I advocated several policies to create economic growth and high-paying jobs, including federal regulatory reform; radical tax simplification; reinstating work-for-welfare; replacing Obamacare with free-market policies; and, expanding exploration of natural resources to achieve U.S. energy independence. HAGEDORN - WALZ (ON THE ISSUES) – This week I posted a piece on Facebook exposing how (once again) Tim Walz’s advocacy for veterans abruptly ends at the point Democrat politics begins.  I highlighted how Walz has effectively turned his back on retired Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods who were savagely killed during the Benghazi, Libya attack on September 11, 2012.

Also on Facebook I reminded voters how Obamacare Democrat Tim Walz voted for the Medical Device Excise Tax before he voted against it (Click here to view).

FUNDRAISING – I announced for Congress May 12th, meaning that our campaign has but 49 days during this reporting period to post a strong fundraising total.  Please help us raise the early money needed to be in position to finish the job and beat liberal Tim Walz in 2016.

Electronic contributions can be made by clicking on the donate button found below.  To contribute by check, please make checks payable to “Friends of Hagedorn” and mail to: Friends of Hagedorn; 11 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 007; Mankato, MN 56001.

THIS WEEK – Our schedule includes fundraising, media interviews and attending GOP meetings, parades, the Minnesota Air Spectacular 2015 Show in Mankato and farm events.

Best wishes,

Jim Hagedorn
