Hagedorn Weekly Report #53

Jim Hagedorn at MNGOP State Convention

JIM ADDRESSES MNGOP CONVENTION IN DULUTH –

Our campaign team swooped into Duluth over the weekend and connected with more than 2,000 energized and unified Republicans at the MNGOP State Convention.

It was a thrill to address the convention (see above photo) and offer my bold solutions to defend the United States and reform the federal government. To view the video of my speech click here.

Pete Hegseth
I had fun visiting with author and CEO for Concerned Veterans for America, Pete Hegseth (see above photo). Pete gave an exceptional keynote address and made the case for a return to Ronald Reagan’s military and foreign policy of Peace through Strength.

For more pictures from Duluth, see this Facebook post.

Brown County Republicans

MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –

Our campaign had fun walking last Sunday’s Hanska Syttende Mai Parade with State Senator Gary Dahms, State Representative Paul Torkelson and the Brown County Republicans (see above photo). For more pictures and information about our afternoon in Hanska see this Facebook post.

I also traveled to New Ulm last week for some good old fashioned Main Street campaigning.  I met scores of nice people in the coffee shops, including Dustin, a U.S. Army combat veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars (see picture below). Dustin strongly supports my solution to empower all veterans to choose their own doctors and receive medical care when and where needed. Thank you for your service to our country, Dustin!

WALZ SAID WHAT ABOUT HIS OBAMACARE VOTE? –

While campaigning in New Ulm we shot this short Facebook video taking Tim Walz to task for his recent “crazy talk” concerning the Affordable Care Act. Walz knows his vote for Obamacare is a political albatross hanging around his neck.

HAGEDORN vs. WALZ (ON THE ISSUES) –

Walz votes again to close the Guantanamo Bay Prison:

PC liberal Tim Walz, who refuses to identify the enemy as radical Islam, keeps coddling Jihadists by voting to close Guantanamo Bay & relocate the al Qaeda terrorists to Rochester, MN. Walz is wrong. Islamic terrorists deserve the last rites, not Miranda rights! Click for roll call vote.

ICYMI – Votes cast by Tim Walz for open borders & illegal immigration amnesty lead to murder of retired Minnesota farmer Earl Olander:

In this Facebook post I take Tim Walz and other liberals to task for enabling the murder of 90-year old retired Minnesota farmer, Earl Olander. Every crime committed by an illegal alien is 100% preventable. We must secure America’s borders and enforce U.S. immigration laws.

THIS WEEK –

This week I am scheduled to campaign across the First District, formally file for Congress in St. Paul and continue to contrast my commonsense positions on the issues with Tim Walz’s failed liberal record.
