HAGEDORN STATEMENT ON GOP COMPETITOR –
Earlier this week State Senator Carla Nelson announced her candidacy for Congress in Minnesota’s First District. I welcome my friend to the race and look forward to a robust discussion of the issues.
Because of you, and all our wonderful supporters, our campaign is in a powerful position to win the Minnesota First District Republican Party’s endorsement, win the GOP Primary and win the General Election.
It is the Hagedorn campaign that surged to within 4/10ths of one percent from defeating entrenched incumbent Democrat Tim Walz. We gave Walz good reason to retire from Congress, and now our MN-1 open seat is the best takeover opportunity in the nation for U.S. House Republicans.
Our team is building extraordinary GOP unity, raising critical early money, working harder than any campaign in the nation and standing for the conservative solutions that not only reflect the views and values of southern Minnesotans, but will truly Make America Great Again.
Please take a moment to read my full statement.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement!
MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –
We continue to work hard across all 21-counties of the First District. This may be the “off” year of the election cycle, but our campaign is in full general election mode.
During 2017, alone, we are on pace to walk more than 50 parades and make hundreds of Main Street campaign stops across southern Minnesota. In addition, I have already attended each of the 21 county fairs and made campaign appearances at the State Fair.
Recently, I was invited by the Brown County Republican Party to speak at their 2017 Fun Raiser (see above photo). Click here for all the details.
Meanwhile, in late-September we marched in parade #49: Wykoff’s Fall Fest Parade (see below photo). Special thanks to Fillmore County GOP Chairman Gary Steuart and the rest of the Fillmore County Republicans for campaigning with Team Hagedorn! Click here for all the details and pictures from Wykoff.

We have just one parade remaining on the 2017 calendar. This Saturday I will be walking in the Minnesota State University, Mankato, Homecoming Parade with my friends from the MSU College Republicans.
Thanks to all who have helped us campaign across southern Minnesota this spring, summer and fall!
Our recent Mankato reception was a complete success. Thanks to those who joined us or made contributions in support of the event.
Special thanks to popular State Representative Tony Cornish for stopping by and giving a nice speech (see below photo of Tony and I). I am deeply honored to receive Tony’s endorsement and continued support!
Please consider a contribution of $50 or $100 today. To make an online donation, please visit jimhagedorn.org/donate or mail checks to: Friends of Hagedorn; 11 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 007; Mankato, MN 56001. Thank you!
