HAGEDORN RAISES OVER $220,000 (Q1 2017) –

Our close election with Tim Walz has opened many fundraising avenues. During the first quarter of 2017 (January 1 – March 31) our campaign raised over $220,000!

I am humbled by the outpouring of financial support from so many Minnesotans. Thank you! Click to read our press release.

JIM ADDRESSES MN-CD1 GOP CONVENTION –

Hagedorn - Convention

This past Saturday I attended Minnesota’s First District Republican Party Convention in Owatonna. It was my pleasure addressing the 160 delegates in attendance.

To watch my 5-minute speech, see this YouTube video. A sincere “thank you” to delegates and guests from their warm response to my remarks.

A new slate of MN-CD1 Republican Party officials were elected on Saturday. Congratulations to incoming Chairman Jeremy Munson of Lake Crystal and the entire team of devoted Republican leaders. See Mankato Times news article here.

MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –

Traveling the First District and connecting with southern Minnesotans is the best part of campaigning.

Attended Dinner

In addition to attending the First District Republican Convention in Owatonna, over the past couple weeks I attended the: MNGOP Lincoln-Reagan dinner featuring a speech by conservative talk show host Dennis Prager, Fillmore County and Le Sueur County Republican meetings (see above picture from Le Sueur), Next Chapter Ministries fundraiser in Rochester and a dinner to raise money for Truman’s museum.

Our campaign also held a bowling party in Winnebago for many of the volunteers who have worked so hard to help us walk parades and distribute literature door to door. We had so much fun (see picture below)!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU –

On behalf of our campaign, I offer a heartfelt “thank you” to First District Republican Chair Carol Stevenson for her effective and hard work during her two terms in office. Republicans have made great gains across southern Minnesota during Carol’s four years of service and we are forever grateful!

Thanks to all First District Republican officers who just completed their terms in office – Jen Jacobson, Derick Wehrwein, Carol Stevenson, Dave Kruse, Joel Hanson and Chris Styndl (see picture below).
