Hagedorn Campaign Update

MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –

Led by our “Highway 14 Team” of Young Republicans, the Hagedorn campaign’s tenacious retail campaigning is already in high-gear. Thanks to all the GOP activists and devoted volunteers who help us connect with southern Minnesotans at First District parades, fairs and festivals!

Last weekend we walked parades in Spring Grove, Preston and Hanska. Thanks to the Houston, Fillmore and Brown County Republican organizations for walking with us and supporting the Hagedorn campaign. The Good Lord blessed us with wonderful weather!

HAGEDORN OFFICIALLY FILES FOR CONGRESS –

On Tuesday I traveled to St. Paul and formally filed as a Republican candidate for Congress with the Office of Minnesota’s Secretary of State. This means that my name will be placed on the August 14th Primary Election ballot.

Please make plans to vote in the primary to ensure that I will be your Republican candidate for First District Congress in the November 6th General Election. For more, click here to read our press release.

MEET CHAIRMAN MIKE McCAUL ON MAY 29TH

We are excited to announce that Rep. Mike McCaul (10-TX), powerful Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, will be campaigning with me in Minnesota this coming Tuesday, May 29th. Please make plans to meet Chairman McCaul, discuss border security issues and support our campaign at the Grand Round Brewing Company in Rochester at 5:30 P.M.

The Rep. McCaul event is one of several Hagedorn receptions that are being held across the First District (see invitations below and click for details). Just last evening we had a great time and rallied with Brown County supporters at the New Ulm County Club. Special thanks to State Senator Gary Dahms and State Representative Paul Torkelson for attending and endorsing my candidacy!

JIM ADDRESSES MINNESOTA GUN RIGHTS RALLY AT THE STATE CAPITOL –

Please take a few minutes and watch my speech to 2,500 attendees of the Minnesota Firearms Rights Rally, held at the State Capitol on April 28th. I remain an ardent defender of the U.S. Constitution, our Second Amendment and the right of law-abiding Americans to keep and bear arms.

HAGEDORN RECEIVES MORE ENDORSEMENTS FROM GOP MEMBERS OF CONGRESS –

I’m humbled that prominent national, state and districtwide Republican officials and activists have formally endorsed our campaign. Special thanks to U.S. Congressmen Joe Wilson (SC-02), Paul Mitchell (MI-10) and future Senator Kevin Cramer (ND-AL) for their recent endorsements.
