GA-06 Win is Good News for MN-01; Hagedorn (mid-June) Report

Chart

GA-06 WIN BODES WELL FOR HAGEDORN & MN-01–

National Democrats wasted $40 million in Georgia’s sixth district to find out what we have known all along – that voters in congressional districts carried by Donald Trump (like MN-01) still want dramatic national change and fulfillment of the President’s legislative program. For more on Rep.-elect Karen Handel’s victory, click here.

The Hagedorn campaign has much to be excited about!

According to the Cook Political Report, Minnesota’s First District is the second strongest Republican district with a Democratic incumbent (see above chart). And, with Tim Walz not running for reelection to Congress, MN-01 is the best takeover opportunity for U.S. House Republicans in the country!

Recently, national political outlet Inside Elections with Nathan Gonzalez profiled my candidacy and provided analysis on all of Minnesota’s competitive congressional elections. To read, click here.

The Star-Tribune published this article about how Blue Earth County’s voters are hanging with President Trump.

Also, national publication Morning Consult published this story about how once solid districts like MN-01 are no longer safe for Democrat congressional candidates. The Hagedorn campaign is highlighted.

All of this reaffirms my view that it’s time for our Republican congressional majority to ignore the Inside-the-Beltway anti-Trump noise and focus on passing the bills needed to fulfill our campaign promises to:

  • Secure America’s borders
  • Defend the U.S. from Islamic supremacists
  • Repeal/replace Obamacare
  • Implement regulatory reform, simplify the tax code, overhaul the budget process and reinstate work-for-welfare
  • Achieve U.S. energy independence
  • Empower Veterans to choose their doctors and hospitals
  • Protect our God-given rights, especially the right to life, the right to keep and bear arms and the right to religious freedom

Parades

MAIN STREET CAMPAIGNING –

The 2018 election may be 502 days away, but Team Hagedorn is in general election mode, working full-time across the First District.

We’ve already walked in 12 parades in 10 counties and I’ve shaken thousands of hands at community events. It’s always awesome to visit with our Republican State Legislators on the campaign trail. Pictured with me below are State Senator Julie Rosen, State Senator John Jasinski and State Representative John Petersburg.

HAGEDORN BUILDING POST-ELECTION MOMENTUM –

With more than 31% of this election cycle already behind us, I’m both grateful and excited for all the strong momentum our campaign has enjoyed following the razor-thin 2016 election with Tim Walz. For all the details, click here.
